DIPAS plays a vital role in enhancing the performance and health of our defense personnel through cutting-edge physiological research. With this recruitment drive, the institute is offering 22 apprenticeship slots across various technical disciplines. This engagement follows the regulations laid out in the Apprentices Act, 1961.

Stipend Information

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend in accordance with the Government of India norms laid out under the Apprentices Act of 1961. The exact amount will be as prescribed in the official guidelines.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested candidates must meet the following criteria to apply:

  • Minimum Age: Must be at least 18 years old on the date of application.
  • Education:
    • Graduate Apprentices: Must hold a degree in the relevant discipline.
    • Diploma Apprentices: A diploma in the appropriate field is required.
    • Trade Apprentices: Should have an ITI certificate in the applicable trade.
  • Year of Qualification: Only those who completed their education in 2022, 2023, or 2024 are eligible.
  • Institute Recognition: The institution must be approved by NCVT, SCVT, AICTE, UGC, or an equivalent authority.

How to Apply

Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of the application process:

  1. Graduate and Diploma Holders: Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal and apply using the establishment ID NDLNOC0000034.
  2. ITI Holders: Register on the Apprenticeship India portal and search for “Defence Institute of Physiology and Allied Sciences” using establishment ID E04250700021.
  3. Make sure all details are filled correctly and the application is submitted before the last date.
  4. Only online applications will be accepted. Handwritten or offline submissions will be automatically disqualified.

Selection Criteria

  • The selection process is based on the merit and eligibility of the candidates.
  • Document verification is a must for shortlisted individuals.
  • The list of selected applicants will be communicated through email. Ensure your registered email ID is active and regularly checked.

Note: Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories as per government rules.

Documents to be Submitted

During the document verification phase, candidates need to present both original and self-attested copies of the following:

  • Application form (signed)
  • 10th grade certificate and mark sheet
  • Final mark sheet or provisional certificate (Degree/Diploma/ITI)
  • Official certificate of qualification (Degree/Diploma/ITI)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
  • Government-issued photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.)
  • Aadhaar-linked bank passbook or bank statement
  • Medical fitness certificate issued by a certified civil surgeon
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs
  • Police verification certificate

Important Instructions

  • Training Duration: The apprenticeship will last for 12 months from the date the agreement is signed.
  • Completion Certificate: Only those who complete the full training duration will be issued an official apprenticeship certificate.
  • Non-Eligibility: Applicants already undergoing or who have previously completed any apprenticeship training are not eligible.
  • No Employment Assurance: Selection as an apprentice does not guarantee a future job at DRDO or DIPAS.
  • Travel Allowance: No TA/DA will be provided at any stage.
  • Electronic Devices: Items like mobile phones, laptops, smartwatches, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed inside the DIPAS premises.
  • Accommodation: No accommodation or transportation facilities will be provided to apprentices.
  • Disqualification: Suppression of any information or false declarations at any stage can lead to immediate disqualification.
  • Right to Cancel: DIPAS reserves the right to modify or cancel the recruitment process at any time without prior notice.
