Indian Navy Recruitment 2025: 10+2 B.Tech Entry for Permanent Commission – Apply Online
The Indian Navy has announced the commencement of applications for the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme for unmarried male and female candidates aspiring to serve as Permanent Commissioned Officers in the Executive and Technical branches. This reputed program gives selected candidates a chance to pursue a four-year B.Tech degree at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, paving the way for a bright career in the Indian Navy.

- Application Start Date: 30 June 2025

- SSB Interviews: From September 2025 onwards (only for shortlisted candidates)
Total Vacancies and Eligibility
- Total Vacancies: 44
- Open to both men and women
- Up to 6 vacancies reserved for women
- Age Limit:
Candidates must be born between 2 July 2006 and 1 January 2009 (both dates inclusive).
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates should have successfully completed the 10+2 (Senior Secondary) exam or an equivalent qualification with:
- They must have scored a minimum of 70% overall in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in their 10+2 or equivalent exam.
- At least 50% marks in English in either Class 10 or Class 12.
JEE (Main) 2025 Requirement
- Applicants must have appeared for the JEE (Main) 2025 examination for admission to B.E./B.Tech programs.
- Selection for the SSB (Service Selection Board) interview will be done based on the All India Common Rank (CRL) obtained in JEE (Main) 2025, as announced by the NTA.
Selection Process
- Shortlisting of Candidates:
- Based on JEE (Main) 2025 CRL.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified through email and SMS.
- SSB Interview:
- Conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Kolkata, or Visakhapatnam from September 2025 onwards.
- Candidates need to carry their original documents along with a printed copy of the online application to the interview.
- Medical Examination:
- Candidates who clear the SSB interview will have to go through a detailed medical check-up.
- No changes in assigned medical centers will be permitted.
- Merit List:
- Final selection is based on SSB performance.
- Appointment is subject to medical fitness, police verification, and availability of training slots.
Training Details
- Selected candidates will join as Naval Cadets and undergo four years of B.Tech training in:
- Applied Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Degree awarded by: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU)
- Training Cost: Fully borne by the Indian Navy. Cadets will receive books, uniforms, food, and accommodation during training.

How to Apply
- Online Registration:
- Candidates must register and submit their application at the Indian Navy’s recruitment portal.
- Personal details must match Class 10/12 certificates.
- Documents Required:
- Proof of date of birth, such as a Class 10 or 12 certificate.
- Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets
- JEE (Main) 2025 Scorecard (CRL)
- Recent passport-size photograph
- File Format:
- Documents should be scanned and uploaded in JPG or TIFF format.
- Application Submission:
- Once submitted, the application cannot be edited.
- Print a copy of the final application and carry it to the SSB interview.
Important Instructions
- Only one application per candidate is allowed.
- Unmarried status is mandatory during training. If a candidate is found married during or before training, they will be disqualified and liable to refund the training cost.
- Using or carrying drugs is strictly not allowed. Candidates may be tested at any stage of the process.
- All declarations and documents are subject to verification. False information may lead to cancellation of candidature.
