Vacancy Details

The recruitment is for the following positions:

  1. Member (Personnel) – 1 Post
  2. Member (Finance) – 1 Post

Both positions are at the Level-15 pay scale (equivalent to Additional Secretary to the Government of India).

Eligibility Criteria

For Member (Finance)

1. Government Officers

  • Campaigners must be serving at the position of fresh Secretary or Senior Joint Secretary to the Government of India.

2. Public Sector/Autonomous Bodies/Statutory Organizations

  • Officers equivalent to Additional Secretary/Senior Joint Secretary in reputed organizations.
  •  Recognized university degree with good academic standing.
  • MBA in Finance Management is preferred.
  • Senior-level management experience in a large organization.

3. Private Sector Candidates

  • Graduate degree from a recognized university.
  • MBA in Finance Management is preferable.
  • Senior-level experience in financial management in a reputed organization.

For Member (Personnel)

  • Similar eligibility as per Government/PSU/Private sector norms.
  • Experience in personnel management, HR, and administration is essential.

Pay Scale

  • Level-15 in the 7th CPC Pay Matrix (Rs.67K-79K 6th CPC pre-revised).

Selection Process

  • Screening of Applications
  • Interview/Selection Committee Evaluation (For Member (Finance), the selection is made by a Committee headed by the Vice-President of India)
  • Final appointment by the President of India
