Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a full-time Degree in Engineering (relevant discipline) from a recognized institution approved by AICTE or equivalent. Alternatively, candidates with AMIE in the relevant discipline are also eligible. Minimum qualifying marks:

• General: 60%
• SC/ST/PWD: 50%

Language Requirement

• Middle School Exam with Odia
• HSC or equivalent with Odia medium
• Class VII with Odia as a subject
• The Middle English (ME) standard examination is administered by Odisha’s School and Mass Education Department.

Selection Process

• The selection process will rely entirely on the GATE 2025 score (out of 100 marks).
• No personal interview.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
• If GATE scores are identical, academic qualification marks will be considered to resolve the tie and establish merit.
• Final appointment subject to medical fitness.

Stipend and Pay Scale

• During Training: Rs. 50,000/- per month + Rs. 200 medical allowance + Rs. 1,000 Remote Area Allowance (if applicable)
• Designation after training: Assistant Manager (E-3 Grade)
• Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 (Initial Basic Pay: Rs. 56,100)

Training and Probation

• Training Duration: 1 year
• Probation Period after training: 1 year
• Bond Period: Minimum 3 years including training

Service Bond Amount:

• 1st year (Training): Rs. 2,16,000/-
• 2nd year (Probation): Rs. 1,50,000/-
• 3rd year (Confirmation): Rs. 90,000/-
