Dhenkanal District Court Recruitment 2025: Notification for Junior Clerk, Typist, Stenographer & Salaried Amin Posts

The Office of the District Judge, Dhenkanal, Odisha has released an official notification dated 24th June 2025 inviting applications in prescribed format for recruitment to various Group-C posts. The vacancies include posts like Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist, Stenographer Grade-III, and Salaried Amin. All these positions will be filled according to the Odisha District and Civil Courts’ Judicial Staff Services Recruitment Rules, 2008, with amendments made in 2010 and 2023. The recruitment is subject to the outcome pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Orissa.

Age Limit (As on 24-07-2025)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 32 years
  • Age relaxation will be applicable for candidates from reserved categories as per the Odisha Government rules.

Educational Qualifications

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Junior Typist, and Stenographer Grade-III:

  • Must have passed at least +3 examination or equivalent from a recognized University.
  • Must have a Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute.
  • The candidate should have studied Odia at least up to the Middle School level (M.E. standard).
  • They must be able to read, write, and speak the Odia language.
  • The applicant should have good character, be in good health, and have no criminal background.
  • Should not have more than one spouse living.
  • For Junior Typist: Typing speed of 40 wpm on computer.
  • For Stenographer Grade-III: Shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typing speed of 40 wpm on computer.

For Salaried Amin:

  • Must have passed HSC or equivalent examination.
  • Must have completed Revenue Inspector Training from a Govt./recognized institute.
  • Must have computer knowledge.

Candidates shortlisted in the written tests will appear for the Practical Computer Test, and those qualified will face a Viva Voce round.

General Instructions

  • Applications must be complete and submitted in the correct format.
  • Government employees need to provide a “No Objection Certificate” from their current employer.
  • Original documents must be produced during the Viva Voce.
  • Candidates will not be given any travel or daily allowance for appearing in the examination.
  • The District Judge of Dhenkanal has the authority to cancel or make changes to the recruitment process at any stage.
  • Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
