AIIMS Patna Recruitment Notice 2025 – Junior Resident (Non‑Academic) Vacancies

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, has released an official notification for the recruitment of Junior Residents (Non-Academic) on an ad-hoc basis for 06 months. Eligible candidates with an MBBS degree can apply online for these positions. The recruitment will be conducted through a multiple-choice question (MCQ) based written examination.

• UR (Unreserved): 19
• EWS (Economically Weaker Section): 04
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 11
• SC (Scheduled Caste): 06
• ST (Scheduled Tribe): 03

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• MBBS degree from an MCI/NMC-recognized institute.
• Completion of Internship is mandatory.
• Valid NMC/State Medical Council Registration must be submitted before joining.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 37 years
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: Up to 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): Up to 3 years
  • PwBD (General): Up to 5 years
  • PwBD (OBC): Up to 8 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): Up to 10 years

Pay Scale

• Salary: ₹56,100/- (Level-10, 7th CPC) + NPA (for Medical Graduates) + other admissible allowances.

Selection Process

1. Written Examination (MCQ-based)
   • Total Questions: 100 (1 mark each)
   • Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
   • Negative Marking: No
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • UR: 50%
     • OBC/EWS: 45%
     • SC/ST: 40%
2. Final Selection: Based on written exam marks only.
