AIIMS Rajkot 2025 Hiring: Consultant Positions on Contract

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rajkot, a premier medical institution under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, has released an official notification for the engagement of Consultants on a contractual basis. Eligible retired government servants and ex-army officers can apply for Administration, Legal, and Procurement Consultant roles. This recruitment aims to fill 03 vacancies initially for 11 months, extendable based on performance and institutional requirements.

Vacancy Details

AIIMS Rajkot is recruiting for the following Consultant positions:

1. Consultant (Administration)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Max 65 years
• Essential Qualification:
  • Retired officials with a degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 08 years of experience in Hospital Administration, Establishment Rules, Pay Commissions, Recruitment, Disciplinary Matters, etc.
  • Central/State Government/PSU experience preferred

2. Consultant (Legal)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Max 65 years
• Essential Qualification:
  • LL.B. degree from a recognized university
  • 05 years of experience in Supreme Court, High Court, CAT, or District Courts
  • Must be registered with any Bar Council in India

3. Consultant (Procurement)

• Number of Posts: 01
• Age Limit: Max 65 years
• Essential Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
  • 08 years of experience in Procurement, Tendering, and Inventory Management
  • Government Hospital/Medical College experience preferred

Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit: Maximum 65 years (as of the 1st day of the interview month)
• Experience: Must have relevant experience in Government/Autonomous Bodies/PSUs
• Retired Personnel Only: Only retired government/ex-army officers are eligible

Pay Scale

• Consolidated Remuneration: Last Basic Pay (minus Pension) without DA

Selection Process

• Walk-in Interview (Date to be announced)
• Document Verification (Original certificates required)
• No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview
