APSC Management Officer Recruitment 2025 – Notification Out

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has invited applications for the position of Management Officer (Management) in the Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprise Department, Government of Assam. Upper Age Relaxation:

Salary / Pay Scale

The post carries a monthly salary as per the Pay Band-4 structure of the Assam State Government:

• Basic Pay: ₹30,000 to ₹1,10,000
• Grade Pay: ₹13,300
• Other Allowances: As per Assam Government rules

Eligibility Criteria

Nationality & Domicile

• The applicant should be a citizen of India in accordance with Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution.
• Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• A valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate must be uploaded as proof.

Educational Qualification

• Must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Management or Business Administration from a recognized institution.
• All necessary mark sheets and degree certificates need to be uploaded.

Work Experience

• A minimum of five years’ experience in Human Resource Management is required in any of the following sectors:
  • Government organization
  • Public Sector Undertaking
  • Statutory body
  • Reputed Private Sector company
• Valid experience certificates are mandatory.

PwBD Candidates

• Though there is no reservation for PwBD in this post, candidates with at least 40% benchmark disability can apply under the general category.
• Necessary disability certificates must be uploaded as proof.

For Assam Government Employees

• Employees working in regular state government service must upload a service certificate from the department they are working in.
• Candidates requesting pay protection or service continuity need to upload a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the appropriate authority.

Declaration on Small Family Norms

All applicants must submit a declaration regarding adherence to the Small Family Norms, as mandated by government rules. This should be uploaded in Form-A at the time of application.

How to Apply

1. Candidates must apply online only. No offline applications will be accepted.
2. First-time applicants need to complete One-Time Registration (OTR) by submitting their basic details, photograph, and signature.
3. After registration, candidates must fill in the online application form, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee.

5. After submission, candidates must take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
6. Candidates without access to online payment can also apply through Common Service Centers (CSCs).
7. Only the application with the highest application number will be considered valid if multiple forms are submitted.

Selection Process

The selection procedure will be announced later by the Commission and may include:

• Written Examination
• Interview (Viva Voce)
• Or both, depending on the number of applicants

Examinations may be conducted zone-wise across various districts of Assam depending on the volume of applications. Candidates will be informed of the exam pattern and schedule through further notification.
