Bank of Baroda (BoB) has announced direct recruitment for two senior-level positions at its Mumbai headquarters – Chief Security Officer (TEG/S-VI) and Company Secretary (SMG/S-IV or SMG/S-V). Pay Scale (as per Grade)

  • SMG/S-IV: ₹1,02,300 – ₹1,20,940
  • SMG/S-V: ₹1,20,940 – ₹1,35,020
  • TEG/S-VI: ₹1,40,500 – ₹1,56,500

Selected candidates will serve a 1-year probation period and must execute a 3-year service bond or pay ₹5 lakhs in lieu of early exit.

Chief Security Officer

  • Candidates should fall within the age bracket of 45 to 55 years as on June 1, 2025.
  • Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university/institution.
  • Experience Criteria:
    Candidates must be:
    • Retired Brigadier or above (Army) / Commodore or above (Navy) / Air Commodore or above (Air Force)
    • Alternatively, candidates who have retired as Deputy Inspector General (DIG) or above from the IPS or Paramilitary forces are also eligible.
    • Or Serving Public Sector Bank official with minimum 3 years in SMG/S-V or above and 15+ years of overall security experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and enforce security policies in alignment with RBI/Government norms
  • Head Bank’s security function across India
  • Oversee and train zonal/regional security teams and fire safety officers
  • Conduct surprise audits, prepare contingency plans, and maintain liaison with law enforcement
  • Manage security infrastructure, equipment planning, and training sessions
  • Ensure safety of bank premises, currency chests, and assets

Company Secretary

  • Candidates should be aged between 32 and 45 years as of June 1, 2025.
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Mandatory Qualification: Possession of valid membership from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is required.
    • Desirable: LLM / CA / ICWA
  • Experience Required: Minimum 8 years post-membership experience in a listed company

Key Responsibilities

  • Function as the appointed Compliance Officer as per SEBI’s LODR (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) guidelines.
  • Manage all SEBI, BSE, and NSE related filings and disclosures
  • Conduct AGMs, EGMs, Board Meetings, and manage elections of shareholder directors
  • Handle Investor Grievances, Dividend Payments, and coordination with Registrar & Transfer Agents (RTA)
  • Prepare Annual Reports, Corporate Governance filings, and handle bond-related compliance
  • Coordinate with SEBI, Depositories, and Stock Exchanges for regulatory compliance

Who Can Apply?

Eligible applicants must be:

  • Indian citizens, or
  • Subjects of Nepal/Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugees settled in India before 1st Jan 1962, or
  • Persons of Indian origin from select countries (e.g. Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya) with a certificate of eligibility issued by the Indian Government.

Selection Process
