Educational Qualification:

Candidates must have a full-time 4-year BE/B.Tech degree in one of the following disciplines:

• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Electronics Engineering
• Telecommunication Engineering
• Communication Engineering

• Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering
• Instrumentation Engineering

Experience Requirements (as of 01.11.2025)

Candidates applying for the Project Engineer-I position must have a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in the following areas:

• Installation and commissioning of Electronics/Electrical systems
• Integration of Electronic/Embedded systems

Important Notes:

• Experience should be relevant to the role and supported by valid experience certificates/documents from past and current employers.
• Teaching, research work, internships, and project work done as part of the academic curriculum will not be considered as professional experience.
• Work experience prior to graduation will not be counted towards the required experience.
• The Selection Committee’s decision regarding the relevance of work experience will be final.
• Applications without supporting documents for work experience will not be considered and may be rejected without prior notice.

Selection Process & Mode of Selection:

The selection process for the Project Engineer-I position consists of the following stages:

1. Written Test – Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be called for a written test carrying 85 marks.
2. Personal Interview – Candidates who clear the written test will be shortlisted (category-wise) in a 1:5 ratio and called for a personal interview. The interview will carry 15 marks.
3. Minimum Qualifying Marks:
   • General/EWS/OBC Candidates – 35% in both Written Test & Interview
   • SC/ST/PwBD Candidates – 30% in both Written Test & Interview
4. The venue for the Written Test and Interview will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
