Contract Period:

The engagement will be for an initial period of three (3) years from the date of joining. However, based on project progress and performance, the contract may be extended for a maximum of one (1) additional year, making it a total of 4 years. If a candidate has already completed three years as a Trainee Engineer in BEL and is selected for this post, they will be directly inducted as Project Engineer – II with an overall tenure limited to 3 years.

Remuneration:

• 1st Year: ₹40,000 per month
• 2nd Year: ₹45,000 per month
• 3rd Year: ₹50,000 per month
• 4th Year: ₹55,000 per month (if extended)

Job Responsibilities:

The selected candidates will be responsible for:

• Troubleshooting networking issues and handling server configuration & operations.
• Connecting electronic equipment like cameras, network switches, and similar devices through networking and IP configuration.
• Addressing maintenance issues of field installations and coordinating with BEL service providers for repair/rectification.
• Working with optical fiber communication, Ethernet networking, LAN, etc.

Selection Process:

The selection process will be conducted through a Walk-in Selection at a location in and around Imphal. The details of the venue, date, and time will be published on the BEL website along with the list of eligible candidates who meet the criteria outlined in the advertisement.

• Step 1: Candidates must register online through the Google Form provided on the BEL website. Candidates who do not register will not be allowed to participate.
• Step 2: A written test will be conducted for 85 marks.
• Step 3: Candidates who qualify in the written test will be shortlisted for an interview in a 1:5 ratio.
• Step 4: The interview will be conducted on the same day or subsequent days after the announcement of the written test results.
