Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- LL.B. from a recognized university in India.
Professional Requirements
- Must be registered as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in handling criminal matters as an Advocate.
Age Limit
- Maximum age as of the last date of application: 62 years.
Other Conditions
- No criminal cases should be pending against the applicant.
- Must submit an unconditional amenability/concurrence to work under the Government of India’s terms and conditions.
Pay Scale & Fee Structure
The professional fee for the Special Public Prosecutor (Retainer Counsel) will be as per the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) guidelines.
Selection Process
