Competition Commission of India (CCI) Recruitment 2025: Deputation-Based Vacancies for Various Posts
The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has released an official notification inviting applications from eligible and willing officers for multiple professional and administrative posts on a deputation basis under foreign service terms. This recruitment drive aims to strengthen CCI’s workforce in its headquarters and regional offices, including Mumbai and Chennai.
This is an excellent opportunity for qualified officers from Central or State Government services, PSUs, autonomous bodies, regulatory authorities, universities, and judicial institutions to work in one of India’s premier competition regulatory authorities.

Eligibility Criteria
General Conditions:
- Applicants must be officers from the All India Services, Central Civil Services, or equivalent services of Central/State Governments, PSUs, autonomous organizations, regulatory authorities, universities, or research/judicial institutions.
- Officers must be working on an analogous post or fulfill the prescribed experience and qualification criteria.
- Applicants must not exceed 56 years of age as on the final date for submitting applications.
Educational Qualifications and Experience (Select Highlights)
- Adviser (Law):
- LLB from a recognized university.
- At least 10 years’ experience in legal or regulatory fields.
- Four years in Pay Level 13A or eight years in Level 13.
- Joint Director (Law):
- Degree in Law.
- Six years in Pay Level 12 or ten years in Level 11.
- Joint Director (Finance):
- Candidates should have a Master’s degree in Commerce, MBA in Finance, or qualifications such as CA, CS, or Cost Accountancy.
- Similar experience as above.
- Joint Director (IT):
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Applications.
- Minimum five years in Level 12 or ten years in Level 11.
- Office Manager (Library Services):
- Bachelor’s in Library Science with relevant experience in administrative or academic institutions.
- Private Secretary:
- Stenographer under Central or State Government with required grade pay service.

Age Limit
- The maximum age limit for all posts is 56 years as of the closing date of application submission.
Salary and Benefits
- The posts carry basic pay as per respective pay levels under the 7th CPC.
- Additional benefits include:
- Dearness Allowance
- House Rent Allowance
- Transport Allowance
- Medical reimbursement (as per CCI service rules; CGHS not applicable)
- Officers are eligible for government accommodation from the General Pool, subject to availability.
- Pay fixation and deputation allowance will be as per DoPT guidelines.

Application Guidelines
- Applications must be forwarded through the proper administrative channel.
- No conditional forwarding will be accepted.
- Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will be outright rejected.
- The Commission holds no responsibility for any delays caused by postal services.
- No travel or daily allowance will be given for attending the selection committee interaction, if held.
