ESIC Hyderabad Recruitment 2025: Apply for Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) Posts on Contract Basis

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), Regional Office, Hyderabad, Telangana, has released a notification inviting applications from retired engineers for the posts of Assistant Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical). These posts are to be filled on a contract basis for a period of one year, which may be extended based on performance or until regular appointments are made.

Salary (Remuneration)

For Pensionable Retired Government Employees:

  • Consolidated pay as per current Government norms
  • Remuneration = Last drawn salary – Pension amount

For Non-Pensionable Retirees (PSUs/Autonomous Bodies):

  • Assistant Engineer (Civil): ₹45,000 per month
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical): ₹33,630 per month
  • Entitled to TA/DA for official travel in accordance with ESIC guidelines.

Educational Qualification

Assistant Engineer (Civil):

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution

Junior Engineer (Electrical):

  • Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University or Institution

Eligibility Criteria

For Assistant Engineer (Civil):

  • Must have retired from the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil) or a higher post
  • Should have served in the Central/State Public Works Department or Central/State PSUs
  • Preference will be given to those with experience in building construction and maintenance

For Junior Engineer (Electrical):

  • Must have retired from the post of Junior Engineer (Electrical) or a higher post
  • Should have served in the Central/State Public Works Department or Central/State PSUs
  • Preference will be given to those with experience in electrical building maintenance

Selection Process

  • Selection will be made through Interview
  • Shortlisted applicants will be informed of the interview schedule through email.

By Hand Submission:

To be submitted at the Administration Branch of the same address.

Leave Entitlement

  • One day leave per month of completed service
  • Government holidays applicable
  • No other paid leave is admissible

Other Terms and Conditions

  • Engagement is for one year, extendable annually based on performance or until a regular appointment is made
  • Selected candidates must sign a contract agreement as per ESIC HQ guidelines
  • Applications lacking necessary documents or found incomplete will be disqualified.
  • Candidates must not have crossed the maximum age of 65 years during the tenure
  • The agreement is subject to termination at any point in case of misconduct or unsatisfactory performance.
