ESIC PGIMSR Delhi Recruitment 2025: Walk-in Interview for Teaching Faculty and Demonstrators on Contractual Basis

The Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (PGIMSR), Basaidarapur, New Delhi, has invited eligible candidates for walk-in interviews for various Teaching Faculty positions (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor) and Tutor/Demonstrator posts on a contractual basis. These appointments will be made purely temporarily to fill immediate academic requirements across multiple medical departments.

Important Dates

• Walk-in Interview Date: 08 July 2025 (Tuesday)
• Reporting Time: 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM
• Venue: Dean Office, 5th Floor, MS Building, ESIC PGIMSR, Basaidarapur, New Delhi – 110015

Application Fee

• ₹225/- for all other categories
• No fee for SC/ST/PWD, Female candidates, and Ex-servicemen
• The payment must be issued as a Demand Draft drawn in favor of “ESI Savings Fund A/c No. 2,” payable in New Delhi through any officially recognized scheduled bank.

Age Limit (As on Date of Interview)

• Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 67 years
• Tutor/Demonstrator: Not exceeding 45 years

Eligibility Criteria

• As per the latest National Medical Commission (NMC) guidelines
• Academic qualifications, teaching, and research experience must align with norms applicable to medical institutions.
• To be eligible for the Associate Professor position in Pulmonary Medicine, the applicant must possess relevant experience qualifying them to serve as a DM supervisor in accordance with NMC and GGSIPU regulations.
• Retired Army Medical Officers can also apply if they fulfill qualification and experience requirements.

Contract Duration

• Professor/Associate/Assistant Professors:
  Contract for 5 years or until the age of 70 years, whichever is earlier. Gratuity or retirement benefits will not be provided after the completion of the term.
• Tutor/Demonstrator:
  Contract valid for 1 year only.

Selection Procedure

1. Direct Walk-in Interview conducted by a Selection Board.
2. Final selection will be based on performance and credentials.
3. Candidates selected for the role are expected to join right after receiving the offer.
4. Results will be published on the official website of ESIC.

• The appointment is purely contractual and may be terminated by either party with a 1-month notice.
• Selection does not guarantee future regularization or continued employment.
• ESIC reserves the right to cancel the recruitment process at any stage without assigning reasons.
• Travel or daily allowances will not be paid for attending the interview.
