Who Can Apply?

Educational Background

• Must hold a Diploma or a B.E./B.Tech degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• A minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent grade is required from a recognized institute or university.
• Candidates with additional training or certifications in CAD/3D BIM modeling software such as Revit will be preferred.

Professional Experience

For Government or PSU Employees:

• Should currently be working in:
  • The CDA Pay Scale of ₹9300–34800 with Grade Pay ₹4600, or an equivalent IDA scale
  • OR
  • The CDA Pay Scale of ₹9300–34800 with Grade Pay ₹4200, with at least 4 years of experience in that grade or equivalent IDA scale
• Relevant documentation from the employer confirming equivalency in pay scales must be submitted.

For Private Sector Applicants:

• Should have at least 7 years of post-qualification experience in reputed private companies.
• Must have earned a minimum annual gross salary of ₹7 lakhs in either financial year 2023–24 or 2024–25.
• Proof of income such as Form-16 or ITR should be submitted. If the latest ITR is unavailable, a declaration should be provided promising to submit it by the interview date.

Skill Requirements

• Strong background in developing CAD drawings for structural elements such as steel, concrete, and pre-stressed structures
• Experience working on projects in sectors like metro rail, highways, urban infrastructure, or transportation
• Hands-on experience with 3D BIM modeling software is a definite advantage

Age Limit

• Candidates must not be over 40 years of age as of the last date of application.

Salary Structure

On Deputation Basis:

• Candidates will continue to receive their parent organization salary, along with standard deputation allowances.

On Contract Basis:

• The pay range is ₹44,000 to ₹89,600 per month, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Tenure

For Deputation:

• Initial appointment will be for 3 years, which may be extended based on performance and requirement.

For Contractual Appointment:

• The position will initially be for a 5-year term, extendable based on mutual consent and organizational needs.
• Either party can terminate the contract by providing 90 days’ notice or salary in lieu of notice.

Selection Process

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on eligibility, experience, and educational qualifications.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview in Lucknow.
• UPMRC reserves the right to use additional shortlisting criteria such as:
  • Higher qualifications
  • More relevant industry experience
  • Certifications or specialized technical skills

Role & Responsibilities

As a Senior System Analyst (CAD/BIM), you will:

• Oversee the preparation and management of CAD drawings and BIM models
• Coordinate with design consultants, engineers, and field teams for civil structure planning
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, guidelines, and project-specific design specifications
• Contribute to the digitization and modeling of metro rail infrastructure including stations, tunnels, and elevated corridors

Medical & Physical Fitness

• Candidates should be in good physical and mental health and must be medically fit as per UPMRC’s standards.
• Those selected from the private sector will have to undergo a mandatory medical examination before final selection.

Bond Requirement (For Contractual Appointees)

Candidates selected from private firms or other government organizations (except those joining via deputation) will be required to:

• Sign a Surety Bond of ₹1,50,000, committing to serve UPMRC for a minimum of three years
• Provide a three-month notice before resigning from the post
