Kendrapara District Court Recruitment 2025: Apply for Junior Clerk, Stenographer, and Salaried Amin Posts

The Office of the District Judge, Kendrapara, Odisha, has released a recruitment notification dated 20th June 2025 inviting applications in the prescribed format for various Group-C posts in the judgeship of Kendrapara. The vacancies are to be filled in accordance with the Odisha District and Civil Courts’ Judicial Staff Services Rules, 2008 (as amended up to 2025), and appointments will be made on a regular basis with pay and allowances as per the rules.

This recruitment includes job openings for Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Stenographer Grade-III, and Salaried Amin positions. Interested and eligible candidates must submit their applications through Registered Post/Speed Post or drop them in the application box provided in the Civil Courts premises by 20th July 2025.

Pay Scale

  • Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: Rs. 19,900 – Rs. 63,200 (Level-4)
  • Stenographer Grade-III: Rs. 25,500 – Rs. 81,100 (Level-7)
  • Salaried Amin: Rs. 21,700 – Rs. 69,100 (Level-5)

Eligibility Criteria

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist & Stenographer Grade-III

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Must have passed at least +3 examination (Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Need to have a Diploma in Computer Application (DCA) from a recognized institute.
  • Age: 18 to 32 years as on 20th July 2025. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per Odisha Govt. rules.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write Oriya and have passed a language test equivalent to M.E. standard.
  • Must be of good character, in sound health, and free from physical defects.
  • Must not have more than one living spouse, if married.
  • Government employees need to apply through the right process and attach a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their department.

Additional Requirement for Stenographer Grade-III:

  • Must have a minimum speed of 80 wpm in shorthand and 40 wpm in typewriting through computer.

For Salaried Amin

  • Must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination.
  • Must have completed Revenue Inspector Training.
  • Other general criteria similar to Junior Clerk posts apply.

Examination Fee

  • No application fee for any category.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

For Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist

  1. Written Test (300 marks)
    • English: 100 marks (2 hours)
    • Arithmetic: 100 marks (1 hour)
    • General Knowledge: 100 marks (1 hour)
  2. Computer Science (Practical): 100 marks (1 hour)
  3. Viva Voce: 45 marks

For Stenographer Grade-III

  1. Written English Test: 100 marks (2 hours) [Qualifying]
  2. Shorthand & Typewriting Test: 50 marks (15 minutes)
  3. Computer Science Test (Practical): 100 marks (1 hour)
  4. Viva Voce: 35 marks

Candidates must secure 35% in English to qualify for shorthand and typing. Those who qualify the practical test will be eligible for the viva-voce round.

For Salaried Amin

  1. Written Test
    • English: 100 marks (2 hours)
    • Arithmetic: 100 marks (1 hour)
    • Survey & Settlement (Theory): 50 marks (30 mins)
  2. Survey & Settlement (Practical): 50 marks (30 mins)
  3. Viva Voce: 45 marks

Candidates must score 35% in each written paper to qualify for practical and 40% in the practical to appear in the viva voce.

Syllabus Highlights (for all posts):

  • Essay, Letter/Application Writing, Translation (Odia to English & vice versa), Summary Writing, Basic Arithmetic, and General Knowledge.

  • Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (Form-A & Annexure-I).
  • Clearly mention the post applied for in block letters on the envelope.
  • Attach self-signed copies of all necessary documents in the given sequence.

Deadline: 20th July 2025 (Before 5:00 PM)

Incomplete applications or those sent after the last date won’t be considered. No travel or daily allowance will be provided for attending the recruitment tests.
