Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MPPTCL), a government-owned enterprise engaged in the transmission of electricity across the state, has officially released a detailed recruitment notification for various technical and non-technical posts. Aspiring candidates can now apply online for vacancies across multiple cadres, including Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer, Law Officer, Line Attendant, Sub-Centre Attendant, and Surveyor Attendant. Cadre-Wise Vacancy Details

1. Assistant Engineer (Transmission) – Class II

  • Total Posts: 63 (42 Male, 21 Female)
  • Reserved for Divyangjan: 9 posts
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500 (Level-12)
  • Eligibility:
    • Full-time B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
    • Minimum 65% marks for UR/OBC native of MP.
    • Minimum 55% marks for SC/ST/EWS/Divyangjan native to MP.

2. Law Officer (2nd Class)

  • Total Posts: 1
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500 (Level-12)
  • Eligibility:
    • Full-time Law graduation with minimum 60% marks.
    • Employees of the successor companies of the MP State Electricity Board are entitled to 55% reservation.

3. Junior Engineer (Transmission)

  • Total Posts: 247
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 32,800 – Rs. 1,36,000 (Level-8)
  • Eligibility:
    • Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or an AMIE qualification in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics.
    • Possession of an AMIE qualification in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics is also acceptable.

4. Junior Engineer (Civil)

  • Total Posts: 12
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 32,800 – Rs. 1,36,000 (Level-8)
  • Eligibility:
    • Regular Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. or AMIE in Civil Engineering.
    • 60% for UR/OBC, 55% for SC/ST/EWS/Divyangjan.

5. Line Attendant (4th Class)

  • Total Posts: 67
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 19,500 – Rs. 62,000 (Level-4)
  • Eligibility:
    • The candidate should have successfully completed Class 10 from a recognized educational board.

6. Sub-Centre Attendant (4th Class)

  • Total Posts: 229
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 19,500 – Rs. 62,000 (Level-4)
  • Eligibility:
    • 10th pass from a recognized board.
    • Should have completed a 2 or 3-year ITI course in the Electrician trade (apprenticeship not included).
    • Candidates from ITIs at Shahdol, Ratlam, Rampura, Narmadanagar under Centre of Excellence also eligible.

7. Surveyor Attendant (4th Class)

  • Total Posts: 14
  • Pay Scale: Rs. 19,500 – Rs. 62,000 (Level-4)
  • Eligibility:
    • 10th pass and 2-year ITI in Surveyor trade from recognized institutions.

Note: Surveyor Attendants are expected to work in remote, hilly, and forested locations and may live in tents. Only candidates who are physically and mentally fit for such work should apply.

Category-Wise Reservation

  • Vertical Reservation: UR, SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), and EWS.
  • Horizontal Reservation: Divyangjan, Ex-Servicemen, and Women.
  • Divyangjan Categories:
    • VI – Visual Impairment
    • HI – Hearing Impairment
    • LD – Locomotor Disability
    • MD – Mental Disability/Multiple Disabilities

Only candidates with benchmark disabilities and a valid permanent disability certificate issued by a competent authority are eligible under this category.
