NHAI Deputy Manager (Technical) Recruitment 2025: Apply for 60 Civil Engineering Posts through GATE
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, has released an official notification inviting online applications for the post of Deputy Manager (Technical). Salary and Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be appointed at Level 10 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th CPC, with a basic pay of Rs. 56,100 – Rs. 1,77,500 per month. Additionally, they will be entitled to:

- Transport Allowance
- Medical Benefits
- Other applicable allowances as per NHAI/Government norms
Educational Qualification
- Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
- The degree must be acquired before or on the closing date of application (09 June 2025).
Selection Process
The selection will be done strictly based on:
- A valid GATE 2025 score in the Civil Engineering stream is required.
No separate examination or interview is required unless NHAI decides to shortlist candidates further if applications exceed a reasonable number. In the case of tie scores in GATE, the following criteria will be used:
- Applicants born earlier will be given higher placement preference.
- If date of birth is the same, alphabetical order of first names will determine rank.
Reservation & Relaxation Guidelines
- Reservations are applicable to SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS categories as per Government of India norms.
- OBC (NCL) applicants are required to submit a valid non-creamy layer certificate dated on or after 01 April 2025.
- EWS candidates must submit a certificate issued based on FY 2024-2025 income, also dated 01 April 2025 or later.
- Certificates must follow the prescribed format as per central government rules. Candidates failing to produce valid certificates will be considered under the Unreserved category, if otherwise eligible.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) with 40% or more disability can apply, provided their disability falls under the categories deemed suitable for the role.

Service Bond
All appointed candidates will be required to execute a Service Bond of Rs. 5 lakhs, committing to serve NHAI for at least three years from the date of joining.
- In case a candidate resigns or is dismissed for misconduct before completing the bond tenure, the bond amount shall be recovered.
- NHAI does not permit the transfer of service bonds from other government organizations.
