RITES Ltd. Recruitment 2025: Walk-in for Engineer Posts in Delhi NCR & Gurgaon

RITES Limited, a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, is inviting applications from experienced engineering professionals for multiple technical positions on a contractual basis. The recruitment drive aims to fill vacancies for Planning & Procurement Engineers, Design Engineers (Civil), and Drawing & Design Engineers (S&T) through walk-in interviews to be conducted in July 2025.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified civil and electronics engineers with hands-on experience in railway infrastructure projects to contribute to national-level assignments.

Educational Qualification & Experience

1. Planning & Procurement Engineer

• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Preferred: Certification in Project/Construction Management
• Experience:
  • Degree holders: Minimum 4 years (with 2 years in procurement/tendering/contract management)
  • Diploma candidates must have at least 7 years of experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a relevant field.

2. Drawing and Design Engineer (S&T)

• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electronics, Electronics & Communication, or Electrical Engineering
• Experience:
  • Degree holders: 4 years in railway signaling design
  • Diploma holders: 7 years in railway signaling design

3. Design Engineer (Civil)

• Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Preferred: Postgraduate degree in Structural Engineering
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 4 years of total professional experience is required, including at least 3 years specifically in railway structural design.

Salary Details

The salary will be as per RITES Ltd.’s norms for contractual engagement. Specific pay details will be disclosed during the interview or selection process and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.

Selection Process

• Selection will be exclusively based on performance in the walk-in interview.
• Weightage in the interview:
  • Technical and Professional Proficiency: 65%
  • Personality, Communication, and Competency: 35%
• Qualifying Marks in Interview:
  • UR/EWS: Minimum 60%
  • SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD (against reserved posts): Minimum 50%
• Shortlisting may be done based on eligibility prior to the interview.
• Candidates can opt to appear for the interview in either Hindi or English, as per their preference.

Reservation and Relaxation

• Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government rules.
• PWD candidates with at least 40% disability are eligible for a 10-year relaxation.
