RLDA Recruitment 2025: Apply for Joint General Manager / Deputy General Manager (Civil) Post on Deputation Basis

The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA), which works under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has announced a job opening for the position of Joint General Manager (Civil) or Deputy General Manager (Civil). Vacancy Details

Salary / Pay Scale

  • Joint General Manager (Civil) will receive a salary under Pay Level-13 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
  • Deputy General Manager (Civil): Pay Level-12 as per 7th CPC
  • Officers from PSUs will be placed in the equivalent IDA pay scales (E-6, E-5, or E-4 depending on experience and role).

Eligibility Criteria

For Joint General Manager (Civil):

  • Must be working on an analogous post or as a Group ‘A’ officer in Level 13/12 of the IRSE cadre in Indian Railways or equivalent grade in Civil Engineering in Central/State Government, PSUs, or Statutory Authorities.
  • The candidate should have 9 years of experience in Group ‘A’ services or an equivalent role.

For Deputy General Manager (Civil):

  • Should be working on an analogous post or as a Group ‘A’ or ‘B’ Gazetted officer in Level 12/11 of Civil Engineering cadre in Railways/Central/State Govt./PSUs/Statutory Authorities.
  • Must have:
    • A Degree in Civil Engineering with at least 6 years of experience in Group ‘A’/‘B’; OR
    • A Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 15 years of experience in relevant roles.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in planning and execution of land or estate development projects.
  • Background in land management, tendering, and project coordination.
  • Good knowledge of computer operations and engineering software tools.

Job Responsibilities

  • Planning and execution of civil engineering and infrastructure development projects.
  • Handling tasks related to tenders, contracts, land development, and station redevelopment projects.
  • Coordination with internal departments, railways, and external stakeholders.
  • Managing land-related technical and administrative matters under RLDA mandates.
