Eligibility Criteria

For Additional General Manager (Civil)

• Pay Level (CDA): Level-13A or equivalent
• Pay Level (IDA): E-7 (₹1,00,000 – ₹2,60,000)
• Required Experience:
  • Currently serving in an equivalent grade (CDA/IDA), OR
  • At least 12–14 years of Group ‘A’ service with current posting in Level-13 (CDA), OR
  • 4 years in E-6 grade (IDA – ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000)

For Joint General Manager (Civil)

• Pay Level (CDA): Level-13 or equivalent
• Pay Level (IDA): E-6 (₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000)
• Required Experience:
  • Currently serving in an equivalent grade (CDA/IDA), OR
  • At least 8–12 years of Group ‘A’ service with current posting in Level-12 (CDA), OR
  • 4 years in E-5 grade (IDA – ₹80,000 – ₹2,20,000)

Preferred Experience

• Engineers with prior experience in elevated or underground metro projects or major civil infrastructure developments will be given preference.

Pay Scale

• On Deputation: Parent pay plus deputation allowance
• On Absorption:
  • AGM: ₹1,00,000 – ₹2,60,000 (IDA – E7 Grade)
  • JGM: ₹90,000 – ₹2,40,000 (IDA – E6 Grade)

1. Eligible officers must apply through proper channel using the prescribed proforma.
2. The application format can be accessed through the official website of RVNL.
3. A scanned copy of the filled and signed application should also be sent by the applicant via email.
4. The concerned controlling authorities (Zonal Railways/Departments) are requested to forward:
   • Vigilance and DAR clearance
   • Last 5 years’ APAR ratings
   • Eligibility confirmation
     Within 15 days after the closure date mentioned in the vacancy announcement.

Key Instructions

• The cut-off date for assessing age and eligibility will be the last date of the vacancy notification.
• Applicants must declare their intent not to seek repatriation from RVNL for a minimum of 5 years.
