SECR Raipur Recruitment 2025 – Re-engagement of Retired SSE/JE (P-Way) Staff

South East Central Railway (SECR), Raipur Division, has invited offline applications from retired railway employees for re-engagement in the Civil Engineering Department on a contractual basis. This opportunity is specifically for former SSE/P-Way and JE/P-Way personnel who possess relevant experience and wish to continue contributing their expertise post-retirement. The engagement is full-time and initially for one year, extendable based on performance and departmental requirements.

Vacancy Details

Monthly Salary / Remuneration

• Fixed Monthly Remuneration = Last Pay Drawn – Basic Pension
• Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Annual Increment will not be provided.
• Transport Allowance: Fixed, as per last entitlement; remains unchanged
• TA/DA permissible on official tours as per last held entitlement

Eligibility Criteria

1. Who Can Apply?
   • Retired railway personnel from non-gazetted positions falling under Pay Levels 1 to 9.
   • Must have retired from same or up to three levels higher than the re-engagement post
   • Preference for candidates retired from the same pay level
   • Should not have taken retirement under LARSGESS or Safety-related retirement schemes
2. Fitness & Suitability
   • Free from DAR/Vigilance issues
   • Good integrity record
   • Medically fit

Selection Process

• Selection based on suitability and experience
• Final selection by a three-member committee:
  • Sr. DPO (Personnel)
  • Sr. DFM (Finance)
  • Sr. DEN (Engineering)

Contract Duration

• Initial Period: 1 year
• Extension: Based on performance, up to 65 years of age
• Scheme Valid Until: 14 October 2026
• Will be discontinued once RRB-recruited candidates join

Leave & Benefits

• Paid Leave: 1.5 days per completed month
• No carry-forward beyond calendar year
• No safety, financial, or disciplinary powers will be assigned
