UIDAI Recruitment 2025: Deputation Opportunities for Senior Officers at Head Office, New Delhi

The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), constituted under the Aadhaar Act of 2016, plays a pivotal role in managing India’s digital identity infrastructure. To further strengthen its administrative and technical operations, UIDAI has invited applications from eligible Central Government officers for various deputation posts at its Head Office in New Delhi.

Introduction

UIDAI is currently seeking experienced officers from Central Government ministries, public sector undertakings, and statutory or autonomous bodies to join on a deputation basis. The vacancies span critical areas such as administration, finance, ICT, and support services. The deputation period is initially for 3 to 5 years, extendable based on performance and organizational needs.

Eligibility Criteria

General Conditions (All Posts)

  • Must be a Central Government officer holding an analogous post on a regular basis, or
  • Must have served at least 3 years in the immediate lower grade, or
  • Have a minimum of 5 years in the next lower level (depends on post applied).
  • Age Limit: Not more than 56 years as on 1 August 2025.
  • Must have at least 3 years of residual service remaining before superannuation as on the closing date.

Post-wise Eligibility

Section Officer

  • Experience in Administration, Legal, Finance, Procurement, HR, or Policy.
  • Desirable: Computer proficiency.

Technical Officer

  • Engineering degree (preferably Electronics/IT) or Master’s in Computer Applications.
  • Experience in e-Governance, ICT projects, cybersecurity, or telecom systems.

Assistant Account Officer

  • Graduation in Commerce or equivalent.
  • Must have passed SAS/JAO or equivalent, or possess CA/MBA(Finance)/ICWA.
  • Should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting within the central government or autonomous organizations.

Accountant

  • Graduate in Commerce or equivalent.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of computers and accounting software.

Hindi Typist

  • Should be currently holding analogous post.
  • Desirable: Experience in Hindi typing and good command of Hindi language.

Salary and Allowances

  • Those selected will receive salary and benefits as per the 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines.
  • Extra benefits such as DA, HRA, TA, and medical reimbursement will also be provided as per rules.
  • Residential accommodation may be provided at UIDAI’s housing facilities (subject to availability).

Tenure of Deputation

  • The initial deputation period will be three years, which may be extended up to five years based on performance.
  • Deputation is governed by the guidelines issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) and UIDAI’s Deputation Rules, 2020.
